Adam Uses Aluminum to Open New Market Opportunities
Creativity and a new material allow this manufacturer to use its existing designs in new applications.

Everyone is looking for new markets to enter in these tough economic times, but since lighting OEMs have very little influence on new housing or construction starts, a better option is to get creative and look at areas we may not have considered before.
Recognizing this challenge, Adam Metal Products has developed a line of products made from painted and bright anodized aluminum. In the past, many of Adam’s OEM customers may have stayed away from offering lighting fixtures for applications that involve the possibility of luminaires rusting. This could be hospitality restrooms, open air overhangs, and any place that involves more than normal humid conditions, but not a wet application. Aluminum options open up this previously untapped market.
Allowing customers to work with luminaires they already know, several of Adam’s products that are normally offered in steel can now also be obtained in bright anodized aluminum, for the same cost as chromed steel. These fixtures include models number 102, 104, 203, 205 and 213. The 213 also will be available in white aluminum for areas where the protection of aluminum is needed, but the bright look is not.
