We are pleased to announce that MetroSpec’s FlexRad® FacetLED™ light source was recognized for performance, efficiency, ease of installation, and innovation with an LEDs Magazine BrightStar Award. This is MetroSpec’s third consecutive BrightStar Award recognizing their innovative FlexRad products.
MetroSpec continues to invent new light sources that enable light fixture manufacturers to efficiently build light fixture forms simply, with less materials, cost and labor. The FacetCore and FacetLED family of LED light sources sets a high standard for innovation and custom collaboration.
With outputs ranging from 3,000 to 15,000+ lumens, FacetLED illuminates globes, drums, bollards, schoolhouse fixtures, acorns, and a variety of volumetric fixtures, with simplicity and efficiency not available with other light sources. FacetLED does not require a heat sink – it directly cools by enhancing ambient air circulation.
FacetLED can be shaped into forms that control the direction of light. Unlike other LED light sources, FacetLED can be used to create lobed light patterns without special lensing or reflectors. It can also be scaled into almost any wattage.
