All of our BBS Manufacturers are up and running, ready to produce and ship orders. They are classified as essential businesses supplying into critical infrastructure. Tripar, in Quebec, has been authorized to reopen but at significantly reduced capacity.
We continue to work around COVID-19 challenges. Some of our manufacturing partners are dealing with staffing shortages in their factories and working to catch up. Others, who import from overseas, are getting through their order backlog quickly. So, we review orders frequently and communicate with affected customers if their lead times are affected.
Our factories are helping with the fight against Coronavirus. Many have re-tooled and reorganized to produce critically needed health care supplies. A.L.P., Genesis Plastics Technologies and RLR Industries are all producing Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) Face Shields for health care and emergency workers. RLR is also prototyping intubation shield boxes.
